Guluchi (Tinospora cordifolia)

It is a well-recognized and widely distributed traditional plant that is used successfully in Indian Ayurveda medicine. Guduchi helps increase the effectiveness of protective white blood cells which fight infection. The herb also augments immune responses to infections by influencing various immune effector cells and ensures early recovery. It is effective in Infections in the respiratory system, skin, and soft tissues, infected wounds, especially in diabetic conditions and immune compromised conditions.

Shathavari (Asparagus recemosa)

Coined as the “Queen of Herbs”, Shatavari has been used for centuries as a hormone balancer and a general tonic to uplift female health and libido. Being a powerful adaptogenic herb, it not only relieves one from physical and emotional stress but also manages diabetes mellitus, prevents high cholesterol and triglyceride levels, and helps in the treatment of bacterial and fungal infections, oedema, infertility, depression and cancer.

Yashti (Glycyrrhiza glabra)

It is also known as Glycyrrhiza glabra. Yashtimadhu is beneficial in treating acid peptic disease. It reduces gastric acid secretion and inhibits the formation of peptic ulcers. It is also one of the world’s most widely researched herbs for its role in supporting the body’s normal digestive function. Triphala

Hareethaki (Terminalia chebula)

The fruit itself is high in certain antioxidants, such as Vitamin C and Vitamin E; it is also thought to help increase concentrations of several antioxidants in the body, including glutathione and superoxide dismutase, which fight oxidative stress. Certain animal-based studies have suggested that compounds within Haritaki can potentially help treat high blood sugar, insulin resistance, high cholesterol and other factors related to metabolic syndrome. Due to its anti-inflammatory properties, it may have neuroprotective effects that can help prevent memory loss and improve mental performance.

Amalaki (Emblica officinalis)

It supports healthy metabolism, digestion, and elimination and promotes anti-inflammatory properties that cool, tone, and nourish tissues and organs. Amalaki nourishes the heart and respiratory system and assists natural internal cleansing, and maintains regularity. It is a natural antioxidant and promotes healthy eyes, hair, nails, and skin.

Vibhithaki (Terminalia Bellerica)

As such, it is used in all types of Kapha imbalances and is especially helpful in supporting the organs and tissues where Kapha tends to accumulate. These include the lungs, liver, and urinary tract as well as the sinuses, ears, eyes, and throat. It is extremely astringent in taste and has the qualities of being dry and light, all of which help to balance the inherent damp and heavy qualities of Kapha. Bibhitaki also helps maintain balanced body fluid levels while toning and cleansing the colon.
