Musta (Cyperus rotundus)

Commonly known as common nutsedge, Musta is effective in gastritis, menstrual disorders and irritable bowel syndrome. Due to its breast purification property, it is used during postpartum care to avoid indigestion to the child.

Bala (Sida cordifolia)

Scientifically known as Sida cordifolia, Balais one of the main ingredients in many of the Ayurvedic formulation and mainly used in Vataja disorder. Also useful in pregnancy to make milk decoction for easy delivery . Country Mallow is a revered herb in Ayurveda, known to balance all the doshas (bodily humours that makeup ones constitution). It is a health tonic with rejuvenating, anti-inflammatory, libido-enhancing and fat-burning properties.

Daruharidra (Berberis aristata)

Also known as haldi, this vibrant yellow coloured spice checks the worsening of Pitta doshas like jaundice. The powerful anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties of turmeric help in evading infections and treats various skin conditions. Tree Turmeric is a revered herb in Ayurvedic medicine. Vilva (Aegle marmelos)

Vilwa is also called as Aegle marmelos. The Bael tree or Bilva (in Sanskrit) is an ancient Ayurvedic tree known for its spiritual and medicinal importance. It is one of the Dashamoola (group of ten roots) herb. Belpatra is said to have anti-inflammatory properties and can be applied on any inflamed region for quick relief. Haridra (Curcuma longa)

Haridra is also known as Curcuma longa. The anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties of Haridra assist in preventing the progression of diabetes-related changes in organs like the kidneys, retina, nerve cells and minute blood vessels in the body. Raktachandana (Pterocarpus santalinus)

Red sandalwood is a tree. The wood at the centre of the trunk (heartwood) is used as medicine. Red sandalwood is used for treating digestive tract problems, fluid retention, and coughs and for “blood purification.”

Chandana (Santcalum album)

Sandalwood or Svetchandan is also known as Srigandha as per Ayurveda. It is one of the oldest and most precious sources of natural fragrance with immense medicinal and commercial significance.
